Retrieve an e-mail

By imjbmw ·
I know I have read somewhere but cannot there a way to retrieve an e-mail sent that has not been opened yet by the receiver. The old "wish I had not sent that" syndrome.

I've only seen the ability to do that when the two of you are using the same exchange server. (and only when configured properly) Other that that you just out of luck. Ooops :)

Unless of course you happen to know the admin of the server which holds the DNS MX record for the domain to which you sent your email. Then maybe you can persuade them to delete it for you.

Hi, it is possible if you are using exchange & outlook. (that's the configuration that i know that can do it). You go to "sent itmes" open the message, go to actions, and then clikc "recall this message". This only works if your mailbox is on the server.
