We were trying to install something with Direct X drivers. The program seems to play (can hear audio)but loses all video. I wanted to see what was going on with the video drivers and I CAN’T GET TO THE DEVICE MANAGER! The machine is a:
2000 MODEL PACKARD BELL W/ INTEL PENTIUM II PROCESSOR 400 MHz, 512 KB Lz CACHE, 64 MB SYNCDRAM, SiS 6326 vid card
Packard Bell has hidden the device manager thoroughly. I can’t get it in Safe Mode, not in Settings, not through My Computer – Properties.I want to release that hidden tab (the General and Performance tabs are there). Can anyone tell me how to get Packard Bell to SHOW Device Manager? Any hints as to why the video is gone would be appreciated too. (The rest of Windows is fine, just no video in that program.)
Thanks in advance.
