Why does,nt browser Support RmiChatApplet.
What should be done for an Applet in a browser to communicate with the RMI server.

the problem seems to be the sandbox of the browser. the applet can't access any server except the one, it has been downloaded from. try to allow the network-io to the unsigned applets in your browser (for IE: InternetOptions -> security -> user defined -> java options
