I am helping a private school get back on their feet. Last year the main building burned down and all files and backups were lost. A student here has not been able to connect using his profile. So I deleted his old profile and created a new one using all the same information he had in his old. Not a copy but word for word. All of this is done in the DC using Active Directory. Everyone is setup on a roaming profile.
Now when he or I log his profile in we get something like this is not a roaming profile all items will be lost when you log off.
I believe its a sync issue or a save somewhere other than the DC. Oh yea we are running Citrix to logon so I believe its got to do with one of these. I know its a broad question and I can get more tech if needed.
