I am writing today from the Rollins College Graduate Program in Corporate Communication and Technology. As part of our degree program, we offer a course titled ?Managing Information Technology? which deals with issues of IT project management, troubleshooting, and general administrative skills pertaining to computing. As part of the curriculum, we like to invite members of the business community who work in information technology and IT management fields to visit our classroom and present discussion topics to the students as a means of helping them to learn more about real-world scenarios. We are currently seeking guest speakers to present talks to our Fall 2003 students.

Our program is structured into the following segments:
? 30-45 minute: introduction or discussion outlining a real-world problem and criteria for solutions
? 1 ? hour ? 2 hours: student group work during which students work together to find solutions and viable approaches tot eh problem presented.
? 30 minute: summation by our guest speaker explaining the actual problem solutions and the approach/methodology adopted that led to successful solution for the problem.

This is only a basic guideline and can be adapted to specific presentation needs. We are currently talking to people interested in presenting on topics including (but not limited to):
    ? ASP
    ? Outsourcing
    ? E-Commerce
    ? Network infrastructure
    ? Upgrading legacy systems
    ? ERP software
