Router IP Address

By tech_soul7 ·
I reset my router to the factory settings, now dhcp is off I can't access my router's configuration page again. How can I know which Ip address my router is using now? Is there any at all, becouse when I plug my cable I get ip address from apipa, not routers dhcp. When I try to set it manual than I can ping my computer but not router.
Any idea?
Thanks

Airgate

by tech_soul7 In reply to What kind of Router?

Well the router is "airgate"???? (that's router from one company that was in voip buisness) The problem is that you've got manual for software that was deliverd by the firm to the end user (prefigured settings). But now when I reseted it to the factory settings manual isn't of any help any more. So how can I get ip address of that router again so I can access them a configure it again, becouse dhcp is now off and I don't know which address is now my default gateway address...
Thanks for any help!

Manual

by tech_soul7 In reply to Try this ...

I already have that, but unfortunatelly it's useless. I need to discover what ip address my router is using now. How, I don't know,so I'm asking you. Maybe to ping range of ip addresses and wait for response,or something like that, but where to begin....???

But in our case we will try not to look the part! Every time I go into one of the local BestBuy's I see a few of the "Geek Squad" and wonder if they have to look the part to get hired.

Yeah there is that question of do the Geeks really know anything

by CG IT In reply to I think you are correct

They wouldn't hire me when I applied.....and I said I would work really cheap. maybe that was the problem.
