Right now Im designing my office network, is a small office, about 10 employees, but my boss says were going to expand to maybe 20, and have offices in other major cities here in Colombia.
So im thinking about getting a layer 3 switch with 802.q, vlan capacities, also we are to connect to remote offices, and provide a client with direct connection with fiber optics, and of course we have an ISP to give us access to internet via cable modem or DSL, other things will be maybe VoIP support…
Now the question is what would be your suggestions?
or maybe getting a router will be better?
