    Run Lotus Domino Server as service

    Hello,

    I did not choose to run the Lotus Domino Server as a service when I was installing it. It is installed on Windows 2000 Server. Does anyone know how to run it as a service that I do not need to logon to the windows to run the server?

      Go ahead and run the setup again, it will save your current settings and add the run as service option. This is what it did for me when I forgot to add DECS in.

      You dont need to reinstall..

      You should open a cmd prompt and type the following:

      ntsvinst -c

      That will install Domino as a service.

      ntsvinst -D

      removes Domino as a service.
