Running a DOS .bat file in XP Pro

By kevmyles ·
I have a batch file that I run to back up data in Windows 98. Now that I have upgraded to XP pro, the file will not run properly. Can I make it happen in XP? Any help?

You may have to play with the Environmental Variables

For the SET commands
In Control Panel, select System
Select the Advanced tab
Select the Environmental Variables button

If are using your Batch to run commands then you need to use the call function the same as if you were running on NT.
