Running Exchange 2000 server in parallel with Exchange 2003

I would like to know how to run a existing Exchange 2000 server in parallel with a new exchange 2003 server until they are synced up and then just run the exchange 2003 server

Provided that you did a forest and domain prep, applied the required patches to Exchange 2000 and Outlook clients as needed, you certainly can.

This would then allow you to migrate the mailboxes from the Exchange 2000 server to the new Exchange 2003 server.

what u need to do a introduce a Exchange 2003 in network. It is not gonna to be a big operation. It will be smooth operation
