Running multiple servers from a single I

By frank ·
I am running windows 2k Adv Server. I want to host 5 web sites from one machine (single IP address). | do not know how to set up DNS along with IIS 5 (Name Servers, Zones, etc). I have not been able to find a book or article that gives me the exact details on setting up my server. What articles I found skip steps, consequently I can never get my server working propertly.

Running multiple servers from a single I

Microsoft Press, Microsoft Commerce Solutions Web Technology by Micro Modeling Associates, Inc. does an excellent job of explaining DNS, zones, etc. It's primarily NT 4 but should give you enough to go on to get win 2k and IIS 5 setup corectly. They have lots of examples and practices in there as well. It's a $50 book but if webhosting is what your doing it's money well spent!

Well it's another start. I have received so much bad advice from other sources that I will not know how good the book is until I read it. The response time was unbelievable. Maybe I can have my web sites up and running by this weekend. Thank youfor your help.
