Running PING as a service, logging results to a file

Does anyone have a MS based solution for running PING as a service (i.e., no logged on user) while logging the results into a file.

I’ve tried using the MS Resource kit to run “pinger 2.3” (Gus Estrella’s program), and I can get it to run, but can’t configure it. I’m not sure where/how the configuration information is saved. If you run it from the command line, it shows up in the system tray and you right click to configure it.

OR:

Does anyone know of another free PING program that can run as a service and log the results to a file?
