I have a windows 98 system. When exiting Internet explorer I get the following error.

R6025 Pure Vitrual Function Call
If I answer ok the desktop disapears and leaves me with the background and a locked system. I have to reboot to get things working and then the system stalls occasionly for 10 – 15 seconds.
What is wrong??
