I am trying to get samba working. When I type the command SMBSTATUS in, I get “could.nt open status file /var/opt/samba/locks/STATUS..LCK
I found the file does’nt exist. Well I tried the TOUCH command, and that does’nt seem to work to make the file. So I went in to make the path correctly with the file..
So how do I make a file within the directory??? I know how to make a directory, but the make file issue daunts me.
