    Samba?

    I am using LInux Red Hat Deluxe workstation 7.0.I would like to serve my Linux workstation
    to connect to a Windows NT server or workstation 4.0.I heard about Samba utilities but I have no
    idea at all how this utilities works and located.I am running on X windows and GNOME desktop
    Please advice.

      Check out ‘man smbclient’ for the correct syntax.

      This will allow you to connect to windows shares.

      Samba utilities is a tools allow you to turn you Linux os into a Domain Controller like NT did. With this tools you manage to share and also control the access just like NT. If you want to know more about this good tool go to this web site http://www.samba.org
