Saving and reusing animated GIF

By pch01a ·
How do I first save and then reuse an animated GIF received with a message in Outlook. When I try to do this I:
1. select the image
2. right click and select "Save Picture as..."
The only option I have at this point is a BMP file rather than a GIF file.
What should I be doing to save the GIF?
How do I insert the GIF in another message?

In IE go to Tools>Internet Options and click the Delete Files button in the Temporary Internet files section of the General tab.
In the next dialog box check the option to Delete offline content.

The reply did not address the outcome, how do I save and then reuse a GIF included in a message.

It has been said that, for whatever reason, clearing the cache clears the problem. the picture can then be placed in an HTML formatted message.

I cannot determine how this helped. I still only have the option of saving the animated GIF as a BMP.
