Saving E-mail

I work in project management for a government contractor. We use e-mail in our dealings with the government as well as with our vendors and subcontractors. This e-mail often contains important project specific information and may be needed to CYA (cover your ass).

On our file server, we have folders made up for each individual project. In these folders is a place for all correspondence. I would like to know how to have Outlook save all the messages contained an Outlook folder to our correspondence folder. Can this be done automatically? I know that you can back-up these e-mails into a .pst file, but then you can’t readily view each individual e-mail.

What do I need to do to get this accomplished?
