scanned documents tracking software

By bisenti ·
hi all,
in my organisation, we use a physical filling system i.e. cabinates, folders e.t.c. We needs a file management system to help us keep track of information. some kind of a database for storing images (pictures). scan the files, store them in folders, and view them when you need to from the work station so that we dont have to go into our cabinates to pull out a file each time you need to view information. Any recommendations??

There are literally tons of vendors doing this.
I'd check with Lexmark and Xerox first.

We are implementing Document Management, which is a Hummingbird product. You might check them out. They have webtop access, but you might need to consider if this would be overkill for you. This is for file management that is accessible over a network that can reach everyone in the organization, each from their own desktop.
