Scanning software

By dsiverson ·
Is there a software package out there that will allow me to scan a document (words, lines, etc) save as a file (preferrably in word) and then be able to make changes in the file to update the document. I use the new OmniPage but there is still a lot of maneuvering that needs to be done. I have 300 pages of documents in a 3 ring binder that I want to scan and then be able to make changes to the pages. Each page needs to be a separate file
HELP, thanks

Scanning software

Text Bridge has been around nearly as long as scanners have existed.

You might want to give it a try.

As with any scanning task, keep the glass on the scanner clean.

Also, the better shape the originalis in, the better the scan results will be.

You can also try adjusting the contrast and brightness on the scanner settings to reduce stray dots in the scanned image.

With 300 pages, you might look at Kinko's or similar services
