Scipt to forward in Outlook

By Del Smith ·
I have created a requisition form in Outlook and need assistance with the code to automatically forward the form to our purchasing officer once the President clicks on the approve button. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would be interested in this answer also, as I am trying to come up with a solution similar to this. Also I would like to see your Req form you've created in outlook so I might use something along those lines for my use, could you please e-mail it to me?

Not knowing the name of any of your objects (buttons etc) its impossible to post code that would work for you. I suggest checking out "Programming Outlook and Exchange" by MS Press. There's plenty of code there to help you out.

It probably will be something like:

Sub cmdPres_Click() ' cmdPres = name of your button

Dim strAddr
strAddr = "email address for officer"

Set oNewMessage = Application.CreateItem(0)
oNewMessage.Recipients.Add strAddr
oNewMessage.Body = (name of form body obj)
oNewMessage.Subject = "Pres says ok this!"
oNewMessage.Recipients.ResolveAll
oNewMessage.Send
End Sub
