SCO UNIX Tracking Failed login attempts

By nhennecke ·
I am looking for a way to track login attempts. I want to be able to determine what terminal failed to login and if it is a psuedo tty I want to be able to get the IP address. I am looking for any pointers on this. I have allready referenced man pages and have just been pointed to routines that are compiled.

SCO UNIX Tracking Failed login attempts

From what I can remember.....
Create a file called /usr/adm/loginlog by typing:
touch /usr/adm/loginlog

It will only record login
attempts if there have been five unsuccessful attempts per
getty process.
