Script pg error installing Antivirus

We lost our Windows Operating system – when we got our computer back we had to install all software. We have tried to install Norton Antivirus 2002 pro (by the way we are running Windows 98) but we cannot complete the install due to the following message: “Error has occured inthe script on this page line 30 Char 2 Errowr unspecified Code 0”
RRL Resi/C:\program%20 files\Norton%20 Antivirus\CFGWIZ.exe/ctgwiz roadmap.htm.

Is there anyway to correct this to finish the install? We cannot getour live updates.
