hello, does anyone know how to develop a internal seacrh engine by cgi? Are there any websites or free search engines around?

  If you’re looking for a good, free CGI search engine for your site, I recommend Swish-E from UC Berkely: http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/SWISH-E/. I’ve used it myself, and it’s an excellent product. It’s pretty easy to install and configure, the indexing utility is nice and can be scheduled in cron if you want, and the search is very fast. The results are also customizable.
