Search fields in a form with sub-forms

Hi,

I have a form which contains multiple sub-forms. The sub-forms save the data to a table that is linked to a main tabel ID # in a 1-many relationship. I can search for values in the form, but when I try to do so in the sub-form, the search doesn't produce the desired results.

I have no idea if this is what you're looking for, but I have an Access project where one form displays information based on the current record of another form using a query with this as the criteria:

(SELECT [Name] FROM [Customer Query] WHERE [Name]=[Forms]![Info Form]![Name])

(the titles were changed for simplicity)

Whatever record is selected in the "Info Form" form will show up in the new form based on this query. (Substitute "Name" with your ID #)

Again, no clue if this is what you're needing, but maybe it'll stir ideas.
