I have created several secured access databases to be used in different divisions throughout my company. I have been working with some tech people within my company and have created links via an OCS website for the users to have a central location for accessing the databases. However, no one outside of my division is able to access them. They receive an error message that tells them the specified path in incorrect or missing. Everyone has been given access to the network location of the database but they still cannot view them. The links on the OCS site are linked to the .lnk files created during security set up in Access.
Does anyone have any insight into why no users in divisions other than my own can get to the databases? When checked at my division the links on the OCS site work perfectly. We are all stumped and any help would be greatly appreciated.
