I work for a public school system running
W2K servers and 98 clients that log in to server.
What would be best& easiest security that
I could put on the client machine's
to protect the students from getting into
My computer, Network Neighborhood,etc.
basically lock down the local machine
We were using fortress in the past.
Should I consider putting it back on?

Your best bet for something like that is to use Group Policies.

Click on Start, Run. type in MMC. Go to console, then Add/Remove Snap-in. Click Add. Scroll down to group policy and click add. then click finish. then close. Then ok.

There you should be able to browse through and select what you would like and what you don't want them to use .

Cheers ....
