**”Security Alert: Critical Flaw in Account Management Poses Risk”**

    ### Attention-Grabbing Line: “Imagine losing your laptop and thinking you were safe after changing your password and enabling 2FA. Think again—the real threat may just be waking up.”
    .

    .
My case: “My account still being able to log in recently and connect to the previously trusted Wi-Fi network on the stolen laptop caused the security loophole, allowing unauthorized access. Even though I changed my password, activated 2FA, and reported the laptop as lost to the provider, and also used the ‘log out of all devices’ function… the thief claimed to have turned off Wi-Fi, only turning it back on when I was asleep to log in by ‘switching the existing account’.”

      Spoiler: Maintaining Physical Security.

That rule was broken and with it, security. There is no exploit here.

The thief exploited cached credentials and trusted Wi-Fi access on the stolen laptop, bypassing your proactive steps like changing the password, activating 2FA, and logging out of all devices. To close this loophole, ensure your account doesn’t allow offline logins, update your Wi-Fi network credentials, and report the issue to your account provider for additional security measures.
