As I sought a game, a promising website offered it for free. Excited, I downloaded it to my iPhone 7, but installation failed. Seeking TechRepublic’s help to troubleshoot this hurdle. Any advice appreciated.

It is possible an iPhone that old may not be compatible with a modern game. It might require a more up-to-date version of iOS than currently installed on the phone. Check the game specifications, you might be using an older version and it may not be compatible. As already suggested, check with the game developer.
