Seeking Tech Solutions for Optimizing a Financial Calculator Website

    by arhamarshad755 ·

    Hi TechRepublic Community,

I’m in need of some tech insights for my website which offers a range of financial calculators. I’m facing challenges with optimizing the site’s load time and functionality.

Any advice or tools you’d recommend for enhancing website performance, especially for calculation-intensive sites?

To optimize the load time, investigate what’s slow. The network part of the console will show you the load time of everything it loads. Of course, the first time is slower than repeated displays of the same site, because it can get some content from the cache.
But when I looked I didn’t find it slow. Less pictures or smaller pictures can make a difference. I don’t think a calculator needs any pics. But you might think it makes it more attractive.

Calculations can be made faster by smarter coding of the calculations itself and – if applicable- only changing the result field when you have the result.
