It’s quite likely that the best laptop for gaming for a given price, say, USD 1500, is not the same as the best laptop for development for the same price.
Of course, you first have to define “best”. Maybe you mean “fastest”? Then know that benchmarks give different results depending on the programs they measure. So you would have to compare benchmarks for *your* favorite game (in the next 4 years) and your preferred development tools (in the next 4 years).Then you have to prioritise. Say the 100% best laptop for gaming is 90% best for development and the 100% best laptop for development is 90% best for gaming.
And if you pay, say, USD 2000, that 90% changes to 95%.Your choice here what you find most important of the two and how much you want to pay. Would you notice that 5% difference?
