"select names from list" options Outlook

I have several clients who wish to change the default list options in outlook. the environment is 2k domain, exchange 2k, office xp and 2k. When a user clicks on the "to" button on a piece of mail the default list of names is from the global address list. They wish the default to be contacts. Anybody know how to set this?

You have mention Office XP right?

First, make sure you have select the contact to show up as an email address book (righ click on the contact folder and go to properties, in the Outlook address book tab select "show this folder as an e-mail address book). Then in Outlook main window go to Tools>Address Book. In the Address book window go to Tools>Options, in options window select the contact folder in which you want to show up first. The default is global address list.
