Send email when computer joins domain

By njohnson ·
Does anyone know if there is an utility out there or even a script to send an email to the administrator when a computer joins the active directory domain? I work with three other guys who are always adding computer accounts in and out of active directory and it's hard to keep up with which accounts are legit and which ones are not active anymore. Thanks!

How about a script to check for you?

The following script will look at each user in turn, get their username and the date they last logged on and add these details to an Excel sheet.

I didn't find one to do exactly as you need but, these ones will check for stale computer accounts.

Download network magic, this does keep a log of attached devices.

Get network magic pro for this as it does a better job. It keeps a record (if you want to set it up) of devices connecting and dis-connecting through a log.
I have this running on my network system and it does a good job. :)
