?Send on behalf” permission is not assigned to a user.

by jpn8 . Updated 19 years, 9 months ago

The environment: Exchange 2003 sp2 and Outlook 2003 clients fully updated from Windows update (Windows and Office updates).

User1 has assigned ?send on behalf? right to User2 and
User2 has assigned ?send on behalf? right to User1 in Outlook.

User1 can send a mail on behalf for User2 and
User2 can send a mail on behalf of User1. But in the mail you can?t see that it?s send on behalf of User1. It?s seems like a ?Send As? permission is overruling the ?On behalf? permission.

I removed/reset all settings from AD and the Outlook client.
?And now it?s working?. It?s now possible for User2 to send a mail on behalf of User1. And it?s visible in the mail that it?s send from User2 on behalf of User1.
(Strange)

And once again I assigned the permissions on User1 and User2.

Result: now it?s the other way around. Can anyone help, please?
