sending e-mail with outlook 2000

I’ve been using Ms Outlook 2000.I can send e-mail without an attachment. But when I attached a file, I couldn’t send. Attachment file size is not important. I tried to send in different size file.
What should I do to solve this problem?or which parameter to care about outlok?
