    Sending message with RCPT rejected

    Locked

    by yakuz4 ·

I’m currently using Outlook Express 6 and Windows XP Professional. I tried to send a mail to the whole of the staff in the office(around 40 people). Yet 8 of them fail to received the mail and i received a status report from the mail server.

When trying to deliver your message, the mail server at xyz.com.my encountered permanent problems with the following addresses:
For , the destination server said:
    Command RCPT
rejected: Too many RCPTs from you this session (from
    terra.com.my:127.0.0.1)

Can anyone tell me what it means and how can i rectify this problem.

    Thank you

      RCPT means recipiens.
Check in the settings of the smtp server what limits are set in terms of how many recepiens or how much kb you can sent.
