Depends on the software.

Belarc Advisor www.belarc.com

Will gather a number of serial and product codes for installed software.

Some software packages show the serial number in Help About.

For others, you will need to contact the software manufacture for a new serial number.

Most of the time, the serial number is NOT on the software installation disk. Most manufactures use an algorithm that looks at the structure of the serial number to verify that it is a valid serial number for that product.

I don't want to have to install each one on the computer to get the info needed. Thanks anyway for responding.

you can search the serial number in this website.
http://www.sndb.net
after u have entered, u will discover that it is not an English website, but still u can search the serial no of your software also.
In addition, the good point of this web is that it has no porn ads pop up!!!

i hope my information is useful for u.
