I’m new to Microsoft licensing and there is a lot to wade through. My main question is if I bought a Windows Server 2022 licence, how long does it last?

What does your Microsoft sales department say about this?

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/pricing has a chat function with their sales department, but that’s for the USA. There might be one for your country also, but surely the conditions are the same everywhere.
