Setting up a server for a small business

We currently have 5 employees at a construction company with their own pc's. Currently everyone is storing their information on their pc's. I want to be able to centralize project information, protect that information from being lost, and access the information from a remote location. I may also be interested in hosting our small website from our server. We recently built a new office and everything is hardwired. We have a router which is plugged into a Dell 2824 Powerconnect . I know I wanted to add a server, so I am going to receive a Dell PowerEdge T630 in couple of days. The server has redundant power supplies, (2) 1 TB drives in RAID 1, and has Windows Server 2012 standard. So with this information, what is the best way of setting everything up so I can centralize the data and recover lost data if a pc were to fail? Do I need to mess with active directory? Can I host our website from our server and use it as a file server at the same time? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
