Setting Up Personal FTP on Home computer

By egerbie ·
Hi I have windows XP home and I am in the process of developing prodct with a partner on the west coast. We need to be able to share files, data & audio, and I wanted to establish an ftp address. I downloaded FileZilla and did not know how to get it established with an ftp address and whatever else I would need to do to go live and start exchanging files. I'm looking for a free ftp setup and was told this was great can anyone please walk me through the entire setup process with filezilla?

Thanks!

The Miscellaneous section is for non-technical conversations. You'll need to find the tech topic that most closely matches what you want to do, and offer a number of points according to how badly you want an answer. I'd be glad to help you, but would be verbally abused to tears if I entertained your technical question in our non-technical haven.

Cheers!

Abused to TEARS?? You?

How much would it cost to see that? Somehow, I don't think any TR postings would reduce you to tears. Something posted might pop a cork in one of your cranial blood vessels, but tears, I doubt it.

Just as an experiment, let's try:

HOWARD DEAN for PRESIDENT!!!!

What did that do?

Nice try.

I'm laughing at the idea of that loon trying to act "presidential".

I agree that being driven to tears by commentary is far from plausible. I'd have to care about your opinion to be bothered by your opinion. I suppose imagery involving a school of piranhas would have been more appropriate.
