Setting up Reverse DNS in Exchange on Win2K Server

By brandis ·
Could someone please give me detailed tutorial information on how to set up Reverse DNS?

Currently our home email server can no longer send email to AOL or Netscape users since AOL has strengthened their SPAM policy. We have clients that need to have their email forwarded to their AOL/Netscape addresses.

We have contacted SBC and they have granted us permissions needed for the R-DNS on their end, but it is still not working. We have gone through all of the rig-a-maroe on our end, but clearly we are not doing something right.

PLEASE HELP!

Blacklisted???

I would check to see if your IP/DNS is blacklisted somewhere first:

If this comes up clean, then I would downgrade your Outlook Express if thats what youre using as a client.

Lastly, you should scrutinize the SMTP logs on your mail server for handshaking issues.
