Share Outlook Mailbox on Windows XP Pro

By michael_j/usa ·
How can I share the same mailbox with all users on my Windows XP machine? I use Windows XP Pro and Outlook 2000 on my home computer with multiple user accounts. I want to be able to have all user accounts except the Guest account share the same Outlook Today mailbox. Currently when each user launchs Outlook, they each get their own Outlook Today mailbox, I would like to have all users except the Guest account open the same (default) mailbox.

Share outlook mail

In the tools tab of Outlook select otions and then select the delegates tab. From there you can add whoever you like and either limit their access or allow full access to everything. once you click add you go to a box called Delegate Permissions. It is from here that you can chose what you would like the user to have access to.

Move the .pst

Why don't you just move the pst file to a folder directly under the C drive. Then each user can open the pst via File Open in Outlook. Or even better, they can then set up Outlook to use that pst file as their mail file :)
