shared or vps server for forum

Hello,
I have started a technical forum about Android, Right it has 250 members and very time we are having 30 to 35 member online. The number of members is increasing and which is directly proportional to the no of people online. So we are keeping getting complains about down time. Right now it on a shared server so Should I increase the bandwidth and storage space or should I go with the new VPS server. Please help me out in dealing the server so that I can run the forum in a proper way

VPS is analogous to a Cloud Server. It works from a distinct hardware node and local storage normally; the cloud server controls from a cluster and cloud storage typically. The Cloud Server give great availability and more protected data as it is uses various replicas in real-time in place of raid.

From what I see it would be viable to go with a VPS solution as a safe side. Who knows tomorrow your forum traffic increase of a sudden. You should have grabbed the Thanksgiving or Blackfriday offers...but there is still time for you to grab those deals and get your forum up and running. I am sure your forum must be generating some form of revenue from the ads posted...spend that money on buying these servers.

VPSs aren't "shared" servers. Especially not Xen VPSs. OpenVZ can cause trouble though.

Also, there are several hosts with lower prices than the ones you listed, not to mention most of us have differing price schemes.
