I have the following scenario:
The boss uses a laptop in his office. He also uses Outlook XP. He frequently takes his laptop out of the office. They have no MS Exchange Server.
The boss wants his secretary to be able to add/remove entries to/from his calendar. However, if the boss wants to access his email/calendar while at home, he must have his pst file on the laptop. This means that the secretary won’t have access to it. If the pst is stored on the server, then the boss won’t have the pst when he’s at home.
I don’t want these users to have to copy/move their pst files whenever their environment changes.
I am thinking of using NetFolders since it uses email therefore whenever the boss checks his email, he will get the updates. Am I on the right track here or is there a better solution?
One additional note; this is a non-profit org with a limited budget. In other words, they’re not gonna want to fork out more than a couple hundred bucks to do this.
