SHELL32.DLL corrupt

I have dual boot system. one partition is Win98 SP1 and other Wint NT4 SP3. Today when i started my machine in NT mode, it gave an error that shell32.dll is corrupt. I have tried to repair it and later on reinstall the NT but with no success(it gaveerror saying that the shell32.dll in Win NT CD-ROM is corrupt). Is there any way to recover the data stored in the 3rd partition with NTFS as file system.if there is any solution, please help.
