Should I fo for HP laptops

Hi
Usually HP laptops do not have a good support for linux compared to Lenovo, Dell, etc. But considering I have a tight budget HP really offers better specs than other laptop manufacturing companies. Do should I sacrifice specs or is it ok if I go with HP?

I haven’t found this to be true. However Linux support is never expected unless the maker or users have pitched in.

As to your last question, go to the forum that discusses your preferred distro and ask there if your HP model is going to be fully supported. If you don’t supply the full model number expect slight heating.

What other constraints do you have?

Is just the budget constraint you are accompanied with or is it linux too?
Lenovo is a good option too if you are tight on a budget.
