I had installed Jboss 4.0.4 GA on a Solaris 10 machine and in order to test the installation, I executed commands to start and shut down Jboss server.
On executing the following command to shut it down:
./shutdown.sh -S
I have observed the following error

Guessing it to be a problem of not able to find the port 1099, I tried to locate the process running over this port, but could not locate it.
I might be wrong but have left with no clues now. Any pointers would be helpful in this regard.
I am even not sure if the Jboss installation has been correct…
