What on earth for?

Sounds like you are trying to create a nightmare situation for both yourself and your users.

I don't see a practical reason for this.

Can you explain what you are trying to accomplish?

I'll bet

He is trying to create a general mailbox. Or this is a serious W-T-F!

I reckon

He's trying to engineer some sort of trouble-ticket system. You email whatever@notmickeymouseofcoursebecause with your problem and a support person picks up the email - next free techie probably - and, by doing so, takes ownership and everyone else has the mail disappear.

You don't get to hear the outsourcer accent until it's too late.

Edited cos Bizzo pointed out that I wasn't being nice

Since when

do you care about being nice? This isn't the first time this has happened. I find it very distressing. It makes my reality wobble. Which gives me a headache. I hate having to question my reality. Stop doing that.

of the coming Apocalypse....

I am not sure I would want to live in a world with a "nice" Neil..... ;\

It's just plain wrong.

And besides, if NEIL is nice, then I question myself..well, should I be nicer? The thought makes me queasy.

I used a slightly inappropriate f-word

by neilb@uk In reply to Since when

So I removed it. Nothing to actually stretch the fabric of reality.

Please accept my apologies if I may have caused you any permanent harm.

Neil :)

p.s. If we're talking temporary then, to quote one of my favourite people, "Don't be such a WATB".
