Size limit of perfmon/sysmon logfiles

By martin_devlin ·
I understand the biggest file perfmon for NT4 will read is 1GB, the same appears to be the case on W2K. That sucks- I have a 1.5GB logfile that I desparately want to read, can it be done with W2K Advanced server, any other tools, etc? I want straight answers, no techno-babble please.

Thanks

Size limit of perfmon/sysmon logfiles

I used to do that, log perfmon then export it to CSV then read it with excel where i can make charts with those values. If by any chance you save that in CSV format, you can try open it with excel, then divide the file in half, save again, and read it in NT4 if that's what you want.

Not sure if excel will open a 1.5 Gb file, but it's worth a try.

Sorry, it was saved in .log format and I've tried messing with it in Excel already.
