During a training session in PowerPoint 97 I came across a problem with the Slide master in one of the presentations. We created a presentation as a group and went into the slide master and made changes to the fonts of the title and the bulleted text, when we came out all the slides had changed accordingly. However when I got the class to do an exercise on slide masters they all had the same problem that no matter what they changed the font to on the slide master it wouldn’t change the titles on the slides. All the bulleted text changed with no problems but none of the titles. The only way to make the text pick up the new font was to delete it and retype it in (it wouldn’t even pick up the new font when you highlighted the text and typed over it!)
Has anyone come across this problem before, and if so what is causing it?
