Slow browser service the my network palc

I am using a 2000 member server running citrix metaframe XP on an NT Domain and when I go to browse the network through My Nework Places it is very slow. We are not using DNS on this server. We have other 2000 servers that appear to be working finebut and the other NT Services are working fine. Do you know what could be causing this problem.
